Job Description : Key Deliverables:

VENDOR DEVELOPMENT:
• Development of new vendor, its validation and sample procurements.
• Approving the components of Vendors as fresh approval.
• Re-validating the vendors / sources. Updating On-Line vendor database.
• Maintaining the vendor list in MRP Data-base.
• Providing approved vendors / sources, to Planning department for procurement of materials.
• Generating new sources for components used in running projects.
• Allotment of component code and preparation of component drawing through system engineering department.

TESTING AND EVALUATION:
• Testing and evaluation of samples and type approval of Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Components/Sub-Assemblies as per standard specifications
• Testing of equipments and units for type approval and PQT.
• Climatic testing of equipments and units for type approval and PQT,
• Bump Test, Drop Test, Vibration Test, Salt Spray Test of equipments and units.

LIAISON WORK:
• Liaison and commissioning with Associate departments.
• Liaison with BSNL, CACT, LCSO, TEC, BIS and others.

AUDIT:
• Audit work for ISO 9000 and ISO14001.

CALIBRATION:
• Calibration of Measuring & Testing Instruments, Climatic Chambers, Vibration M/c and other Machines used.

• Operation/Maintenance and rectification of Environmental Chambers.
