Job Description : Job Profile: Presently Working : From June 2003 onwards working in Jai Corp Ltd- Group, recently promoted as DGM Purchase, Manufacturer of PP fibres, fabric, cotton spinning, Non woven, Masterbatches etc for mainly Reliance Industries , IPCL & Export purposes.
Head & responsible for Central Engineering purchase cell consisting of 9 group of companies.1) Jai Corp Ltd.-Silvassa(100% EOU) 2) Tech Fab Industries Ltd.-Silvassa 3) Jai Corp Ltd- Athal 4) Jai Corp Ltd - Vasona 5) Jai Corp Ltd- Daman .6)Jai Corp Ltd- Sarigam 7) Jai Corp Ltd- Daman (MB Unit) 8) Jai Corp Ltd-Masat 9) Polyole Fibes Ltd –Daman. Total group turn over is about more than 3000crores.

Present duties :
Head & responsible for Central Engineering Purchase Cell consisting of 9 group companies. Responsible for total engineering material management in all units.. Controlling material flow & responsible for transferring material in between units. Maximum , minimum , reorder level of stock maintaining for smooth production. Working for reducing inventory cost by ABC analysis.


1. Verifying of indents
2. Finding sources
3. Arranging quotations
4. Finalization of dealings
5. Issuing & approving purchase orders
6. Keeping track on pending indents
7. Clarifying incomplete specification (in indents) with units
8. New vendor development
9. Controlling material flow
10. Responsible for transferring material in between units
11. Doing follow up with inter units & direct to vendor (as required) for timely delivery
12. Doing data analysis for purchase activities
13. Maintaining ISO system in the department
14. Maintaining Top management guidelines for doing purchases.
15. Encouraging & guiding deptt. Colleagues (5) for giving their best effort for running deptt. transparently & smoothly
16. Co-ordinate supplier & units as per their requirement i.e, for pending payment, pending C forms, advance payment, pending bill, Proforma invoices etc.

17. Doing purchase of Machines & its spares for Tapes lines, printing machines, stitching machines, lamination plant, bale press , metal detector, needle looms, circular looms, sulzer flat looms, warping machines, winders, tensile tester, screen changers, Ring frame, blow room , carding, LR, TFO etc from Lohia Sterlinger Ltd, J.P. Industries, LMW, Voltas, ELGI, Navjeevan, Sultex, Gabbar Engg, Armstrong, Ravitex, Steer Engg, Rajhans Engg, Lathia Rubber Mfg Co, Reitter, SKF Ltd, Rimtex Engg, Indian Card clothing, Neplast Engineers, Lexon Winders, Advance cooling tower, Kamal Metal Industry , Lunarmech etc

Also doing project & regular purchases for Transformer, cable, VCB, DG, Cooling tower, compressors, chilling plant, pumps, elevator, Central conveying system, drives, motors, PLC, contractor, relays, meters, panels, light fittings, MCBs, MCCBs , transducers, encoders,Timers, connectors, computer, fans, bearings, belts, gears, pulleys, chains, hardwares, yarns, masterbatch pigments, ink reducers, dyeing chemicals, paper core , paper cone , crepe paper, packing items, lubricants, TMT, cement, angel, Channel, pipes, blades,tools, heaters,paint , cots, electrical mis. Items, office furnitures, stationery etc.
