Profile Synopsis

Summary:  My work experience of over 20 years can be broadly classified into two phases.
The first phase from 1989 - 1997 was spent in Advertising wherein I worked with some of the leading advertising agencies of the day in the area of client servicing.
The second phase from 1997 onwards has been on the other side of the table in the area of Corporate Communications. My role in corp. comm has been an evolving process and i believe that is the way true corporate communications departments will function all over the world.
I believe in thinking out of the box and come up with innovative initiatives rather than offer run of the mill solutions. Successful corp. comm is directly a result of top management vision and conviction. It is this understanding that allows a good corp. comm team to offer challenging and path-breaking solutions.

In my experience, creating customized effective internal communications is one of the most important areas of concern for organizations today. There is no greater joy than being recognized for bringing a positive change within the organization through effective internal comm. .

What do I have to offer (Haves): Specialties:My experiences in corp. comm has enabled me to specialize in the areas of External Communications, Internal Communications (effective implementation) and Media Relations. In addition, i have had the rare privilege of having closely worked in.

What do I seek (Wants):  A challenging role in communications with matured organizations, especially in non-conventional energy, pharmaceutical, bio-tech and infrastructure domains.......
