Job Description : Strategic Role:
. Translate vision of Board and strategy of CEO into measurable actionable plan and communicate the strategic business plan to respective management levels in the organization.

Develop performance measures and monitor the implementation of strategic business plans and report the results back to CEO for manufacturing units, Distribution units and group companies.

Participate at meetings with top management and Board and develop growth plans for the group and increase profit levels.

Participate in formulating future direction of all companies of the Group and arrange funding for all capital requirements.

Treasury function

Monitor cash balances and respective forecasts, arrange loans, bank facilities, invest surplus funds. Also optimize and develop banking relationships.

Risk Management

Understand and mitigate key elements of risk profile for all business units, maintain appropriate insurance coverage and report risk issues to CEO / Board.

Legal vetting of all contracts, MOUs, JV agreements, Distribution agreement and closely follow up on the progress on court cases.

Constantly review internal control safeguards and implement safer business processes.

Operational Role:

Help Divisional General Managers to realize their objectives rather than pointing flaws in their proposals.

Implement operational best practices, monitor transaction processing systems and develop cost-effective employee benefit plans to attract and retain talent.

Work closely with Chief Information Officer to develop proactive IT systems through "Business Process Re-engineering"

Participate in design and ensure timely calculation of incentives and commissions for the employees.

Achievements

Partner (with CEO and Board) in the success story of the company by developing and implementing strategies across the organization which achieved the following in last 4 years:

Sales Growth 228 %, Profit increased by 476 %, ROE increased from 9.3% to 53.6 %, Growth in banking facilities 441%, Interest payment (as % of sales) reduced from 2.65 %to 0.22 %, New borrowing relationship started with 5 banks, Working capital (as % of sales) reduced from 41 % to 22 %, Company operate in "four" countries instead of "two". Number of group companies increased from 3 to 28, new agencies added 52, New businesses started 6.

The risk profile of the company has substantially improved by changing legal structure, shareholding and by implementing better policies on credit, risk management, cash management and by transferring risk by obtaining new and better insurance policies.

The training workshops were conducted by me on Risk Analysis, Letter of credit, Management Accounts Analysis and Credit control for the benefit of all business heads and managers thereby achieved higher productivity.
