Job Description : As a Business Analyst, I used to be the part of COE (Centre of Excellence group of Java), The group was named as TSG (Technology Solutions Group) and TSG rocks man.As a Business Analyst with L&T InfoTech, I went through the Model Training Program at NIA (National Insurance Academy, Pune) which was specially designed for Business Analyst working in Insurance Domain. I started working as a Business Analyst even before the training because of my experience at previous company.
I worked as a Business Analyst on Agency Management System where we designed a solution that could help the insurance companies in maintaining the relationships with the Agents with whom they work and to provide ease of doing Insurance Business. I started with Agency Management System called “Agency Point” which we also showcased in ACORD summit 2008. We received a very good response from the clients for whom we customized this solution as per their requirements.
I worked for the client called “LNT Finance”,a firm started to work as a Broker. I worked on the solution called as IIMS, Intermediary Integrated Management System. I was involved in requirement gathering, making decision on the screens and user interface, helping development team to understand about the different modules and the workflow, writing and prioritizing the use cases, doing end to end system testing to ensure required functionalities expected out of it.
I was involved in the development of a Tool Called T-Spike which is used for Automation Testing where my responsibilities were to create a vision document and a strong Business Case.During the development of this tool, I worked on the ANT script that integrated some of the open source tools we used to develop the Solution.
I worked for one of the Solution for which I received the “Team Performance Award”. The solution was specifically used by one of the existing clients for web services testing.
