 Coordinate with the client, contractor and the design consultant.
 Monitor daily progress and compile daily reports on the works.
 Compile daily works reports in a format to include weather conditions, plant on site and works undertaken.
 Monitor the construction methods including the plant and equipment used – note actual working hours.
 Inspect, witness, sample and arrange for tests.
 Maintain quality records.
 Compile as built records which should include the development of wall charts.
 Measure, with the contractor, dimensions of the works performed recording location, widths, lengths and depths.
 Monitor the adherence to the environmental management programmes and/or actions which may affect the environment.
