a) Budget allocation, planning & execution of Geophysical Division.
b) Review of Geophysical work already carried out by outside agencies in Iran, Madagascar, Mozambique ,Indonesia,Cameroon ,Brazil and also many blocks in India.
c) Procurement of advanced Geophysical equipments to carry out the in-house investigation for minerals in India and abroad.
d) Recruitment drive for fresh and experienced Geophysicist for the mineral & Coal exploration programme..
