Summary: I am an accredited Chartered Engineer in Metallurgical Engineering, B.Sc. (Physics Main Mathematics Subsidiary) , and AMIE in Metallurgical Engineering. I have versatile experience in the Design, Engineering, Project Construction & Commissioning, and Operation of major units. My area of working was in the primary zones of major steel plants in India and abroad like Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, sponge iron plant, D. G. Power Plant , induction steel melting propane storage etc. mainly, but not restricted to them.
I am now working as Director (Tech) of Mahadevmetaliks Pvt Limited and Shivam smelters Pvt Limited Hyderabad. Additionally I work also as freelance Engineering consultant and am based in Secunderabad. I am doing the engineering of an iron making unit and also look after the complete operation and Maintenance of steel melting unit with induction furnaces .

I have worked as Consultant in the Business Development Department looking after the activities related with the projects in Azerbaijan, Georgia etc which Ispat /GSHL are taking up. I worked as consultant in charge of the sinter plant of Ajaokutta steel Plant Nigeria and commissioned and operated a 2.4 million-ton/annum sinter plant there.

I conducted a techno -commercial Evaluation and feasibility studies for the take over of The Rustavi Iron and steel Works Georgia (CIS) along with a multi disciplinary team. We assessed the feasibility of taking over of the unit, submitted proposal and negotiated with the Hon: minister of steel of Government of Georgia and submitted the techno- economic proposal to the Government. I was responsible for the preparation of techno-economic evaluations for taking over of various Iron and steel making units in African nations for the Ispat group like iron ore mines and beneficiation unit in Ganja mines Azerbaijan.


I was Deputy General Manager / Consultant in charge of the engineering, erection, commissioning and, operation of Sinter Plant, Raw material Handling Plant etc in the Blast furnace unit of Ispat Metallics India Ltd, Dolvi. Was responsible for the Engineering of Sinter Plant, Supply chain management (equipment tracking) of the Blast Furnace Project etc, I commissioned and headed the operation and maintenance also. Conducted, the due diligence works for taking over of a palletizing plant by Ispat along with an expert from Lurgi GMBH Germany.

As the project in charge of the 11.81DG power Plant, I coordinated the working of civil, structural and Mechanical erection contractors, suppliers like Man B&W, Seimens GMBH Germany and supervised the fabrication and erection of Fuel tanks, building structures and equipment structures. I have erected three Horton spheres of 500 cubic M each with all accessories for storage of propane gas.

I worked in the Design and Engineering Department of Visakhaptnam Steel Plant looking after Raw Material Handling and Sintering Plant. I was over all charge of 2x312 M2 Sinter Plant complex and raw material handling plant (RMHP) .The units I handled included Hydro-metallurgical units, pumping stations, water treatment plants settling tanks, Thickeners, vacuum filters, cooling towers pumping stations etc . As the Head of the department of Raw material Handling systems, I have handled various Raw materials for the integrated steel Plants.

Have experience in handling the green field projects in Rourkela , Bokaro, Visakhapatnam and Ispat Metallics India Ltd. I have worked in plant operation departments of these major steel plants also .

Commissioned Sinter Plant Complexof 5.26 Million Tons/year capacity operated and maintained the same.
- Sinter Plant consisted of a huge water treatment plant, recovery unit, pumping stations etc
- - Raw Material Handling Department: Handled all Raw Materials (ores, fluxes & coals) needed for integrated steel plant of 3 million tons capacity. Over all charge of raw material handling plant including wagon tipplers, stackers, reclaimers, storage yards, crushing, sizing and screening plants, mixing plant, rotary driers for iron ores, etc. Achieved an increase in tippling of wagons by 3 folds. Successfully reduced retention time of wagons and reduced the cost of handling. Achieved an increase of 3 fold related to iron ore production. Suggested and implemented design and lay out changes for better production and efficiency.

Training and Development Department: Organized the training of Graduate Engineer trainees, Charge Men, Technicians, etc. Arranged and facilitated many human resource development programs.
