Profile Synopsis

Summary: In 1999 I helped start an Internet business which over 6 years transformed into one of India’s most profitable Internet businesses. In May ’04 we sold this business to Monster. This is one of the few Internet businesses to have been able to create value and give back returns to Investors as well as employees.

My second innings with The Times of India has been equal pretty fruitful. In just over 4 years since I joined we have leaders or near leaders in the e recruitment, matrimony, property and classified space.

With my rich experience in the Internet industry and European mobile market space, I bring forth a unique set of knowledge and skills including an in-depth understanding of Brand and Product Management, Business Processes and Structuring, strong leadership and a business background with a sound understanding of technology.

My principal field of expertise is in leading teams, brand building, product development combined with my understanding of internet technology. I have done this primarily by leveraging existing systems, innovating solutions, analysing processes, concepts and managing projects strategically to rapidly drive businesses forward.
