Summary: BACKGROUND

I started my career in Content and Media business from 1980-81 that has grown with the initial direct practical training and then followed, by the working experience, which has continued with its gradual growth, till today.

My entire career of 25 years of span, till now, has observed the growth of Motion Picture productions, Satellite Television as well as Doordarshan in our country, which has enriched me with tremendous opportunity to be the part of its journey of development. Originally coming from the field of Motion Pictures, I have also graduated myself in Television Content Creation, its Production, Channel Management and Channel Operation, Today’s new Media Delivery Systems on Broadband as well as on Web.

Advertising agency experience and active co-ordination with Marketing and Sales people, is an added experience, which has developed a very important skill in me and resultantly converted me in a total media person, containing the valuable experiences of Motion Pictures, Television, I.T based new Media Deliveries, Advertising & Marketing associated with these.

c. Documentary film “Veer Bhogya Vasundhara” based on an Armored Regiment 45 Cavalry. Doordarshan on National Network telecast it on 17-03-1994 & 28-12-1994. Chief of the Army Staff Late Gen. B.C. Joshi has appreciated the film.

d. 3 Ad. Films for Hosiery, 2 Ad. Films of Detergent, 1 Ad. Film of Boot Polish & 1 Ad. Film for Adhesive.

e. RAKTADAN based on the life of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi a legend freedom fighter and editor of Daily Pratap of Kanpur (Screen play based on Pre-Independence days – 12 episodes).

f. VEERANGANA, a 13 episode Mega Serial, based on the heroic life of Maharani Laxmi Bai.

g. 26 episode T.V. Serial “RANBHOOMI” (The Battle Field) based on the life of Army Security Forces Personnel’s, who are working at fronts and the hardships being faced by their families (as serial based on backdrop of Kashmir).
