Kumar Raajesh has been a well known TV Journalist for over a decade and a half (mostly with AAJ TAK). Having started his career with India's first video magazine, NEWSTRACK in 1992, he was a part of the core group that created history in Indian TV Journalism, by launching AAJ TAK, as a 20 minutes daily news magazine on Doordarshan in July 1995. AAJ TAK went on to become India's number one news channel, and Kumar Raajesh went on to become its Senior Special Correspondent by 2006.
Kumar joined INDIA TV as its Executive Editor in August 2006. In 2007 he
authored a book titled "The Janata Enigma : 30 out of 60".
Presently he is working as 'Editorial Consultant and Senior Anchor' to two TV Channels - 'Live India' (a news channel) and 'Pragya' (a motivational channel). He is also the proprietor of a TV Production House called "TNS – A to Z of TV & NEWS", and is presently busy making short political films reagarding the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections.. Simultaneously Kumar teachs journalism in various media institutes on invitation..
