Job Description : - Initiated efforts for starting the Technology Institute of the Institution on joining which was successfully done in a short span of 6 months including the construction of over 45,000 sqft of constructed area along with complete infrastructure and laboratories, to meet the AICTE requirements. Institute now into its third year, with strength of around 600 students.
- Successfully planned and increased the institute infrastructure by over 2 lakh sqft during a period of 2 years as well as the student strength from 1035 in Jan 2006 to over 2200 students in August 2008.
- Initiated and succeeded in finalizing MoU’s with foreign Universities the first with Gannon University Pennsylvania (USA) already signed.
- Successful in student and faculty exchange program with French University namely University – Nantes in June 2008. MoU also signed with the University for Collaborative Efforts. First batch of six students successfully completed their training.
- Evolved an agreement to start collaborative MS program with BITS Pilani in the Institute campus for benefit of the faculty.
- Accomplished starting of an Off Campus program of Singhania University, Rajasthan for PhD programs to benefit the faculty in skill up gradation.
- Regional Coordinator for EDI Diploma program on Enterpreneurship.
- Collaborated with Institution of Engineers (India) Roorkee Chapter for joint programs.
- Served as an Active member of the 1) FICCI – Higher Education Network (FICCI-HEN) working on the implementation of the Knowledge Commission Report 2) Member -Academic council of Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun.
- Providing advisory and consultancy services to a number of organizations in the field of Project Management, Small Hydro Power and Educational Projects and also rural development projects through NGO.
