Dexterously mentored the team for successful indigenous development & improvement of imported 165 BHP Schottel Propulsion System used by inland water transport (IWT) units of Army through reverse engineering.
Delivered a paper which was published in Institution of Military Engineers, Journal, in Sep’79, on the subject, ‘Propulsion System for Vessels of Inland Water Transport Units of Indian Army’
o It won Second best article for the year award.
o The system has been indigenously mass produced by DRDO in 2004 for Army.
