Job Description : Worked on Analog satellite transmission then moved to hand picked Inmarsat team. Later set up and O&M of Netaji E/S at Halisahar (WB) then moved on to ITMC Calcutta.
In the meantime was deputed for setting up STP at many places. I was the first person to set up and operate VSAT BIS in Guwahati - a first in NE India under the aegis of NEDFI.
Subsequently received DWDM/SDH training in 1998 and have been associated with all the major cable projects in India.
Managed SMW4 NOC for 4 years, O&M of SMW3 cable station, SMW4 Mumbai Cable Station, etc.
I have worked cable station equipments provided by Alcatel, Fujitsu, Nortel and Tyco..
