Project Management
 Planning, scheduling and manpower determination for the project, leading project electrical team from conceptual stage to detail design stage, providing support and guidance to design engineers, CAD operators and coordination with team members of other disciplines. Attending kick-off, weekly progress and coordination meeting at site.
 Preparing and updating specification for individual projects. Also practicing self checks, squad check for quality assurance procedure on the projects after finishing the design and before sending the design and document to QS for B.O.Q. preparation to release tender package. Replying participating contractors quarry during tender and issuing addendums if required.
 Coordinating with Client, Project Manager, Main Contractor, Sub-Consultant, MEP contractors and other specialist sub-contractors.
 Reviewing/ approval of project plan.
 Review/ approval of monthly progress and variation submission for electrical works.

Project Design

 Development of basic design philosophy and preliminary design concept report as per international and local regulatory codes like DEWA, SEWA, ETISALAT, DU and Civil Defense etc for electrical building services in conjunction with architectural model and client’s requirement.
 Preparation of design deliver document and design team resource/ time plan.
 Preparation of drawings, schedule, documentation at preliminary design stage and detail design stage. Updating electrical specifications as per approved design brief by client for a particular project.
 Coordinating with architects, structural and other discipline for fulfilling spatial requirements of rooms for HV, transformer, LV, UPS/ battery, DG, telecommunication rooms and electrical services risers in compliance with local authorities regulations and general practice guidelines.
 Development of power layout as per area usage and requirement, estimation and calculation of total connected electrical load. Development of electrical distribution, single line diagrams for LV power distribution system starting from LV-panel, SMDB and Final DB.
 Preparation of load schedule at LV-Panel, MDB, SMDB & Final DB level, voltage-drop calculation, cables selection & sizing, DG selection & sizing. Provision for electrical connection for other mechanical equipment. Deciding routing for cables/ bus bar risers.
 Development of Substation proposal and sizing as per the quantity of transformers required as per total connected load.
 Designing of lighting layouts as per area usage and required Lux levels, calculation of light quantity, selection of luminaries along with lamp and control gear, following CIBSE standards and preparation of detailed drawing for Lighting layouts. Designing of automated lighting & dimming systems including internal, external, facade illumination and landscape lighting.
 Designing of fire alarm system, central battery emergency lighting system and voice evacuation system confirming to local Civil Defense regulations.
 Telephone service designing and confirming the requirements of Etisalat and TECOM for telephone cable incomer, telephone room, riser and floor distribution network.
 Designing of other low current services like gate barrier system, access control, CCTV and security system, SMATV network, back ground music system, interfacing with BMS and home automation system.

 Erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment like transformers, LV panels, MDBs, MDBs, DBs, Dimmer panels, MCC, UPS and Capacitor Banks and DG sets.
 Erection, testing and commissioning of electrical/ BMS for Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs and Package Units etc.
 Erection, testing and commissioning of electrical/ BMS for chilled water pumps, booster pumps, and water transfer pumps, Fire pumps and toilet/staircase exhaust fans etc.
