Profile Synopsis

Summary: Dr.N Vikramaditya completed his MRCP (Member, Royal College of Physicians) from prestigious St. Georges Hospital London (UK) in year 2001. He received extensive training in Interventional Cardiology under Dr. A John Camm. He was subsequently awarded membership by prestigious British Cardiac Society. He joined St. Georges Hospital, London As Interventional Cardiologist in 2002. He was appointed as Editor, review panel, British Medical Journal. He was awarded International Associateship from American College of Cardiology in August 2003.He joined Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi in March, 2003. Subsequently, he was offered Fellowship Program in Complex Angioplastys from RFUMS, North Chicago, IL. USA in 2004 under Dr. Jeffrey B. lakier. During this tenure he got training from Dr.Marie Claude Maurice on Bifurcation .Later on, he joined Dr. J Richard Spears, in year 2005, for Laser Angioplasty and Rotacs Procedure.


He came to India in Jan,2006 and joined Wockhardt Heart Centre, Hyderabad, as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist | He performed few outstanding cases which were published in couple of National dailies | He was appointed “review author” of International Journal of Cardiology.

In last 2 years ,he has done more than 600 complex angioplasties including CTOs (Chronic Total Occlusions), Bifurcations, In-stent Restenosis,Graft Stenosis, Left Main Disease, Osteal Lesion. Calcified Lesion, Eccentric Lesion,Multi Vessels Disease, and Coronary Lesions with stroke as well as coarctations.


He specializes in Laser Intervention Device,USG PTCA devise,Rotablation Rotational Atherectomy Device, Directional Atherectomy Device, Rotacs Procedure, Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Intravascular Brachytherapy, and Radial Interventions.


Dr. N Vikramaditya was invited to join Apollo Group in June,2006 and has been one of the most efficient and leading interventional Cardiologist of Central India and treating patients from Nagpur, MP, Chattissgarh, Jharkhand and Vishakapattanam.

He Joined Ivy Heart Institute in September,2008 as Director –Cardiac Sciences and Subsequently Joined Fortis Group,in july,2009
