Job Description : • Handling of end to end implementation, rollout, technical support, change analysis, customizations of Retail Excel, flagship product of the organization catering to SME Retail Chains in India, APAC, Middle East & Africa geographies. Retail Excel is leading software solution for the retail industry with capabilities like Point of Sale, Campaign Management, Store Management, Replenishment, Merchandising, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, B2B Sales, Financial Accounting, etc.
• Implementation Projects: Feasibility study (Cost, time & effort), Project planning, scoping, estimation, tracking. Actively Involved in Solution Design Phase for the clients. Identifying business critical systems, processes and priorities. Conducting Function Specs, Gap Analysis and phasing out deliverables over multiple Implementation phases. Deploying Implementation staff at client site depending upon timelines & skills required. Devising the data migration strategy of Master & Transaction Data from the old application into Retail Excel within agreed upon cutover period. Co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing covering complete end-to-end business processes. Getting Customer Sign Off on Go Live. Implementing Standard Operating Procedures at Client Site for Helpdesk, Bugs and Enhancement Requests. Managing implementation schedules, project plan, Integration and unit test plans, status reports, issue log and client training. Also, involved during commercial stage for finalizing quotes for implementation projects depending upon scope & timelines involved.
• Technical Support: Setting up the 15x7 High Availability support environment. Co-ordinating with Client through helpdesk and resolving issues, bugs, performance bottlenecks, etc. Prioritizing issues and making sure that required SLAs are met. Co-ordinating with development team and ensuring timely deliveries of hotfixes, patches, minor releases for resolving Customer Issues. Resolving support/ operational issues in liaison with clients’ project manager & business groups. Provide onsite billable support & misc billable services as & when required. Follow up with clients for renewal of support contracts, SLA agreements and collections.
• Account Management: Serve as Single Point of Contact for supporting Client post implementation. Understand & map client’s requirements / enhancements to the product and provide technical solutions. Mapping an existing account for current and latent IT needs for account mining and assisting Sales teams in getting more business from the existing clients.
• Product Management: Making sure that common and contemporary features requested by retail clients are incorporated in product roadmaps and major releases are delivered by development team within time periods agreed with clients. Acting as Business Analyst for features requested by client and assisting in Business Design of Features.
• Team Management: Team mentoring, deployment, recruitment, training and counselling of Implementation & Technical Support Staff. Make sure that the team is in 100% readiness in terms of database skills, retail industry knowledge, product knowledge and implementation methodologies.
