Born in Calcutta, city now called Kolkata, Alum of University of Calcutta (M.A. Economics), Indian Statistical Institute (Ph.D.)and Harvard Business School(ISMP), comprehensively enjoyed executive life and quit employment in favour of leisure in 2002 at 54 after serving five public sector institutions( each time a fresh employment and not on deputation or lien) working at various levels from junior executive to general manmager and from execuitive director to charmain and managing director. Now enjoy web network and lively association as Independent Non-exccutive Director of seven companies.. Interests: internet, economics/economists, globalisation, Uncertainty and Risk, Financial markets, Stochastic Destiny Principle, Individual liberty and freedom, love and spinning stories/ discussions.
