Summary:  Dr. Sharma has an expertise of teaching, training and research in Social Sector (Development, Education and Health).

She possesses an M. Phil and Ph. D. in Anthropology from Delhi University, for which she had carried out an extensive fieldwork among the Gonds of Central India with the focus on ‘Socio- Cultural change’ and ‘impact of Planned Development on the socio-cultural lives of the natives’.

She has an experience of carrying out empirical research in Tribal, Rural and Slum/Urban areas in various parts of India and has presented research papers in several National and International Seminars and few of them have also been published. She has two published books and few research papers to her credit based on the empirical research from her fieldwork in the above-mentioned areas.

Since 1998 after completing her Doctorate, she has worked in various research bodies, Corporate Offices and NGOs as Research Associate, Social Researcher/ Scientist, Project Coordinator Senior Programme Manager, and Consultant etc. in Social Sector with the focus on health, education and development projects.

She has experience in teaching and coordinating courses for PGBM/PGDBM/MBA students in Development Management/ Social Sector Management, Communication, Sociology (of News) and Corporate Social Responsibility in well known Business Schools. She had also coordinated few Training Programmes.
I want to take active part in International Researches and Initiatives undertaken by UN agencies. .
