Job Profile:
• Heading the company’s Finance, Accounts, Budgeting, Costing and MIS Function at its Head Office, Barbil. Reporting directly to the Managing Director.
• Responsible for planning & compliance of all the taxation matters, both direct and indirect taxes of the company including Sales Tax, Excise, Income Tax etc. including liasoning with Tax Officials.
• Looking after the project accounting, bill passing & its payment of Kendujhar Project from HO.
• Responsible for implementation & smooth functioning of ERP.
• Supervising the consolidation & finalization of Group level Accounts of the Company.
• Present Daily & Monthly MIS, Variance analysis of both unit wise & group level to Managing Director and take rectification measures to control cost & operation viability.
• Interacting with Customers for recoveries.
• Supervise Project expenses tracking & analysis associated with all the Projects & its capitalization & accounting.
• Responsible for preparation of yearly Budget for CAPEX, Sales, Production etc. separately and consolidation of the same and its monthly review of the same.
• Supervising the preparation of cost records and Handling of both internal & External Auditors, both financial & cost Auditors.
• Liasoning with Banks for day to day working capital requirements.

Job Profile:
The Detail job responsibilities are as follows.
� Financial management and Control of accounts of the corporate office of the company & ensuring adherence to Accounting policies, system and processes as laid down by the Company.
� Looking after day-to-day affairs of the financial transactions of corporate office with an establishment of over 90 Executives and supporting staff including preparation of payroll & disbursement of the same.
� As Drawing and Disbursing officer of the corporate office with responsibility of controlling finance & working capital management of the entire Company covering 18 nos. profit/ cost centers.
� Controlling the Collection of revenues of all the divisions (15 nos.) spread over 9 Districts of Orissa & its remittance to Head Office.
� Shouldered responsibility of independently controlling disbursement of funds towards purchase of power, contractors & suppliers payment, monthly salary & allowances of the employees of all the Electrical divisions & Electrical Circles.
� Responsible for ensuring all the taxation matters, both direct and indirect taxes of the Company including filling of returns & handling of Tax Authorities.
� Supervising the consolidation & finalization of Accounts of the Company including inter unit reconciliation of 18 Units.
� Supervising the preparation of cost records and Handling of both internal & External Auditors, both financial & cost Auditors.
� Liasoning with 3 Banks with around 25 branches on day-to-day basis for monitoring daily transactions and transfer of funds to corporate account.
� Responsible for preparation of Daily & Monthly MIS for consideration of higher management.
� Responsible for Project expenses tracking & analysis associated with all Projects & its capitalization & accounting.
� Responsible for preparation of yearly Budget, its review of the same and take appropriate actions
� As part of the corporate purchase negotiation committee, take part in purchase negotiations.
� As a Managing Trustee of WESCO PF & Pension Trusts, also looks after the working of PF & Pension Trust and management of investment of more then Rs.300 Crores.
� As head of Audit wing for one and half year conducted the internal audit function in the Company. The Job involves pre as well as post audit of all financial transactions, Purchases & Consumers Billing (revenue) audit, Project works audit and physical verification of Inventory & asset.
� Remained associated in filling annual Revenue Requirement and Tariff proposal with Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission from time to time.
� Day to day monitoring at corporate level of the disconnections and collection against receivables carried out by various Divisions.
� Revision of Bills involving Rupees One Lac and above as part of the corporate level committee.
� Monitoring & Analysis of Billing & Consumption of Large & Medium Industries.
� Monitoring Collection from all type of Commercial Consumer to achieve 100% consumer coverage.
� Prepare the Asset Register of the company since its inception from April�99.
� As head of a Revenue Division successfully looked after all the Accounts, Revenue Collection and Administration of the division along with handling of consumer grievances for 2 years.
