Summary: I am working as a Senior Manager, Business Development with Cactus Comunications Pvt. Ltd. I have been working with this company for the last 6 years.

Following is a brief profile of my experiences within Cactus:

December 2002-January 2004: Associate, Operations

Responsibilities included:

•Managing the daily operations of a start-up.
•Resolving critical issues (phone lines,electricity,computer problems,etc)
•Managing relationships with the vendors
•Keeping track of office stationary and other items.
•Screening résumé’s of candidates and arranging for interviews

Key accomplishments:
•Setting up newly acquired offices from scratch to end. (includes selecting carpenters, managing them and getting the office up and running by the specified deadline)
•Arranging for company events

January 2004-September 2005: Associate, Client servicing

Responsibilities included:

•Converting maximum number of clients and increase repeat business through effective customer service.
•Managing relationships with the clients and the in-house Editors.
•Managing invoicing requests.
•Dispatching special and regular invoices to Japanese clients
•Tracking and capturing payment
•Responsible for giving regular and effective timely update to Marketing and other departments.
•Gathering & maintaining data pertaining to corporate clients.
•Managing customer inquiries and assignments during capacity crunch situations.
•Identifying trends/patterns emerging in inquiries and jobs received.

Key accomplishments:
•Managing a base of 1500 clients alone for about a year (includes both retail and corporates clients)
•Successfully created invoicing and payments tracking process
•Developed good rapport with corporate clients from Japan.

September 2005-April 2006: Manager, Client servicing

Responsibilities included:

•Managing a team of 3 members (including myself).
•Supervising day-to-day operations.
•Managing clients for company’s newly launched unit (i-osmosis).
•Converting maximum number of clients and increase repeat business through effective customer service.
•Managing the relationship with the clients and the in-house instructors.
•Identifying trends/patterns emerging in inquiries and jobs received.

Key accomplishments:
•Developed the first training module for the Client servicing department.
•Process and system enhancements.
•Created process for newly launched unit (for future client managers).

April 2006-January 2008: Senior Manager, Client servicing

Responsibilities included:

•Heading a team of 8 members (including myself).
•Supervising day-to-day operations.
•Developing and strengthening the IT systems.
•Managing or making decisions relating to the department and identifying opportunities for new services.
•Setting targets for the team.

Key accomplishments:
•Successfully improved the team’s performance.
•Created KPIs for each and every member thereby enabling ownership within the team.
•Enabled leadership within the team by giving free reign to reportees.
•Designed and implemented CS performance screens.

January 2008-till date: Senior Manager, Business Development

Responsibilities include:

•Main objective is to maximize the company’s revenues by using subsidiary company (Cactus Japan K.K) as a strategic partner, while keeping costs low.
•Revenue generation through high-end clients – identify high-end clients and transfer them to subsidiary company to get more business.
•Identifying new leads – authorizing subsidiary company to take it forward to get more business.
•Finding prospective organizational clients..

2) Know what a client wants and accordingly see to it that he gets what he desires.
